Wow, almost 5 months since I last posted. That’s…sad. But, anyways, I’m in Paris until July, working at my new job. I recently bought a new camera, so I’ll be posting photos pretty regularly on Flickr. The Flickr Import on my site is broken at the moment (and I’m not sure if it’s worth fixing), so they won’t be appearing in this RSS feed.
40 years ago today, Apollo 11 lifted off from Earth on its way to the moon. The Big Picture has some great photos from the misson. Looking at the photos makes me really wish I were alive at the time, but hopefully we’ll be back sometime soon.
Boston.com’s Big Picture blog has a collection of gorgeous photos of “human landscapes” by Jason Hawkes today. My favorites are 1, 7, and 8.
Reverie was shot completely on the new Canon 5D, and seriously, I am in complete awe. The quality of the video is absolutely breathtaking; I was shaking my head in amazement during most of the video. I guess I need to start saving up for one…
Thomas Hawk runs down the major features of the upcoming Canon 5D Mark II. This is a really exciting camera: not only does it have great upgrades to the already awesome 5D, but it now includes a full 1080 16:9 video mode.
I went to Niagara Falls this week, and took a fair amount of photos. Check out my niagarafalls tag on flickr to see them.
